Arkansas State University-Main Campus Admissions
Admissions requirement for undergraduate students include an application with a $15 nonrefundable fee, test scores, a high school transcript or GED, and proof of immunization against measles and rubella, and of registration with the Selective Service (if appropriate). Students can apply electronically or through the mail. Transfer students and international students will have different procedures to go through.
Students may apply on-line to the graduate program, or through the mail. Graduate students must hold appropriate degrees, be immunized against measles and rubella, and provide transcripts of all universities to have attended. The application fee is increased to $35 for applicants to the doctoral program. Minimum requirements also included an undergraduate grade point average of 2.75.
Unrestricted admission is available for those applicants who provide an ACT test score of 19 or higher, obtain a high school grade point average of 2.5 during eight semesters of high school, or earn an overall GPA of 2.75 over six or seven semesters. Students may supplement a comparable score on the SAT in place of an ACT score. Students who submit a six or seven semester GPA must ultimately submit a final, high school transcript. Students who do not meet the unrestricted admissions criteria but who do have a 2.0 high school grade point average may apply for restricted admission. Restricted admission is only available to 500 students per session.
